Dr Hugh Williams
Lecturer in Law
Dr Hugh Williams is a lecturer in law at Coventry Law School. Hugh specialises in international law, particularly, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, international criminal law and transitional justice, and criminal law.
Hugh gained a degree in modern history before studying to become a practising lawyer, and then practised both as a solicitor and as a barrister before he became a lecturer. Hugh gained his Masters in public international law and his doctorate in international law.
Hugh’s current research interests include the conduct of war and transitions to peace.
