Christina Thompson is Deputy Head of School (Operations and Resourcing) at Coventry Law School, where she plays a central role in creating an exceptional, student-focused learning environment. With extensive experience in legal education, she ensures that the School’s people, resources and systems are aligned to support high-quality teaching, innovation and student success.

Working in close partnership with the Head of School, Christina helps shape the strategic direction of the School and leads operational and change initiatives that enhance the student experience. Her work focuses on effective workforce planning and workload allocation, ensuring students benefit from engaged, well-supported academic staff and a consistently high standard of provision. She regularly deputises for the Head of School and represents the School across the University and with external stakeholders.

Christina previously served as Associate Head of School for Student Experience, leading initiatives to improve student engagement, progression and outcomes. She worked collaboratively across academic and professional services teams to embed inclusive, student-centred practice throughout the curriculum.

Alongside her leadership role, Christina is a highly experienced lecturer specialising in Criminal Law. Her research interests lie in sexual offences and legal education, reflecting her commitment to socially relevant scholarship and to empowering students to achieve their full potential.
